A true international archival center

The documentation center of the Collection of Art Brut gathers and makes available to researchers, journalists and cultural institutions historical resources on self‑taught and marginal creation: files of female and male authors, catalogs, acquisition archives, specialized publications and audiovisual documentation. Rooted in the history of Art Brut in Lausanne and its influence over time, it asserts itself as the preferred platform to better understand the evolution, dissemination and impact of this unique collection founded following Jean Dubuffet's donation. An essential tool for anyone wishing to explore, document or promote this singular and authentic form of art.
