School visits, pre- and extracurricular, with or without guide, are organized by registration only.

Guide-free visits for preschool, school and extracurricular groups

  • Registration required at least 48 hours in advance via form.
  • Free museum entry for the group and accompanying persons.
  • Hours: Tuesday to Friday, between 11 am and 12 pm and between 2 pm and 6 pm (museum closing).

Guided visits

  • Swiss public schools (compulsory level from 6 years old and post‑compulsory secondary II): free.
  • Preschool (nurseries, daycare centers, APEMS) and extracurricular (neighborhood houses) Lausanne: free.
  • Private schools, higher education institutions and schools outside Switzerland: CHF 100 per group, admission included.
  • Registration required at least 2 weeks in advance via form.
  • Hours: Tuesday to Friday, between 9:45 am and 6 pm (museum closing).

Documentation Center of the Collection of Art Brut

Possibility to consult by appointment the documentation of the museum's specialized center, which brings together nearly 10,000 titles and 500 films, including the rich and varied archives of Jean Dubuffet as well as documents (books, articles, DVDs, etc.) produced or acquired by the Collection of Art Brut.
